The 8th Baltic Economic Conference will take place in Vilnius on 25-26 June 2026 and is organised in collaboration with the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and Latvijas Banka. The keynote speech will be given by Yuriy Gorodnichenko. The conference will feature special issues of two journals: Economic Modelling and the Baltic Journal of Economics. Participation in the conference is also welcome without presenting a paper (registration required). Looking forward to meeting you in Riga!
Key facts about the Baltic Economic Association
The Baltic Economic Association was founded in June 2018 in Vilnius to promote and reinforce cooperation between economists from the region.
The association has ten member institutions that include universities and the central banks of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The main event of the association is the annual conference, which rotates every year across the three Baltic countries. You can learn more about them here.
