BEA online research seminar – Aldona Kapacinskaite

We are pleased to invite you to the next Baltic Economic Association Online Research Seminar and are delighted to welcome Aldona Kapacinskaite (Bocconi University). Aldona is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. She earned her PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from London Business School. Her research examines drivers of organizational innovation, including how changes in the competitive and appropriability environments affect the use of trade secrets, investment in new technology, and product launches and updates. In 2022, she was awarded the Academy of Management Technology and Innovation Management Division Best Dissertation Award and was a finalist for the Strategic Management Division Wiley Blackwell Outstanding Dissertation Award. Her research has also been recognized by several StrategicManagement Society Strategy Research Foundation awards. Currently, she is a Thomas Edison Innovation Law and Policy Fellow at the Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy. She holds a double MSc in Economics and Public Policy from Ecole Polytechnique and Sciences Po Paris. Prior to joining academia, she held research roles at the European Commission, Google, and INSEAD.
